Placing Orders
All prices listed on RAB Hobbies
web site are in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated and may be subject to
change without notice. Customers will be notified of any price increase prior to
their items being dispatched.
All prices include GST where applicable.
International orders do not include GST.
We accept PAYPAL (Local and
International) and cards (local AU buyers only) via SECURE PAY On Line SSL
Processing for payment of goods, as no item will be delivered prior to the
payment being made in full. This includes international orders.
Parcel Delivery.
RAB Hobbies delivers to valid postal
addresses within Australia and overseas.
RAB Hobbies will use any one of a
number of delivery services at its discretion, including courier companies and
Australia Post. In some circumstances a signature will be required as proof of
delivery. Most if not all Australia Post deliveries will now include a tracking
number supplied to the customer once the parcel is sent. This includes EXPRESS
MAIL and PARCEL POST PLUS.
We will endeavor to keep all goods in stock
and you are notified via ZERO quantities on line when an item is currently
unavailable. On the occasion we do not have an item, we can arrange direct
shipment with certain Australian distributors. For this reason an order may
arrive in more than one parcel.
Each order is allocated a delivery charge.
Please note that all Back orders are sent freight free within
Australia.
Delivery time is dependent upon the product(s) ordered and
destination. Usually this is within 2-5 days within Australia and 10 to 21 days
international. However delays do occur via any chosen postage or freight method
and is beyond the control of R.A.B. Hobbies.
Refunds
Customer satisfaction is our number one concern.
RAB Hobbies will accept returns under the circumstances detailed below as
long as customers first obtain an authorization and return instructions from RAB
Hobbies, preferably by e-mailing SALES or call up direct on 03 9580 2258 during
business hours .
RAB Hobbies will not accept returns on the basis of
"A Change of Mind", but will honor
all Australian Consumer Laws regarding Refund or Repair of any item sold from
our store with in Australia which is proven to be faulty and not damaged due to
misuse. Manufacturers product guidlines must be followed. If in doubt, please
call us to verify details of your concerns.
International sales cannot
and will not be covered by Australian Consumer Laws.

Not what you
expected?
If a customer receives shipment of a product purchased
from RAB Hobbies and finds that it will not meet their expectations, the
customer is entitled to return this item for credit or replacement within 7 days of delivery receipt as long as it
is unused, unopened and with its original packaging
intact and in re-salable condition (at the discression of R.A.B.
Hobbies). Exceptions to this is if the customer no longer
requires this item, then we are not obliged to accept a return under any
circumstance. Authorization must be obtained and goods must be returned at the
customers expense.
Damaged goods?
If a
customer receives shipment of a product purchased from RAB Hobbies and it is
initially found to be damaged in transit in any way, RAB Hobbies cannot be held
responsible. With this in mind we offer shipping insurance at a minimal cost to
guard against this and it is recommended that this be taken as an option when
ordering.
All claims must be directed towards the carrier of the goods for
compensation.
Damaged or missing
parts?
If a customer receives shipment of a product purchased from
RAB Hobbies and it is found to have a damaged or missing part or component. RAB
Hobbies will replace this part or component if available but contact must be
made within 7 days of delivery
receipt. If a suitable replacement part or component is not commercially
available, RAB Hobbies will replace the entire item as long as it is unused and
all original packaging kept. RAB Hobbies will reimburse a customer for the
return delivery as long as authorization has been granted.
Product failure?
If a customer experiences a malfunction
with a product purchased from RAB Hobbies that initially appeared OK, its
replacement or repair is subject to any applicable warranties or guarantees
offered by its manufacturer. Details of any warranties or guarantees offered for
a particular product are included in that products packaging at the time of
purchase. RAB Hobbies will endeavor to help our customers as much as reasonably
possible in making such claims to a manufacturer.
